DESCRIPTION
The stage starts from the hill of Caluso on which stood the ancient castle known today as "Castellazzo" and whose imposing ruins still dominate the area. The route goes through remarkable vineyards of Erbaluce, offering stunning panoramic views on the nearby Lake Candia and on Serra morain and Masino Castle. Some pleasant deviations from the main route lead to the beautiful Mazzè Castle and some interesting archaeological sites, or, in Vische, to the Monastery of the Sacred Heart of Bethany, one of the Holy Doors of the Diocese of Ivrea.
