DESCRIPTION
This easy alternative route runs on the west side of Lake Viverone and passes throught the lake dwelling site of Azeglio (UNESCO world heritage site). The stage ends in Cossano Canavese where there is the remarkable church dedicated to Saint Stephen Protomartyr. The route continues along the main itinery of Alta Via towards Masino Castle, that definitely is worth a visit.
