DESCRIPTION
The stage climbs up to Brosso along the ridge of the west lateral moraine.
As an alternative to the official 32km-long route, the option is A5 route: both of them touch the “Scarmagno-Torre Canavese/Morena Destra d'Ivrea” Site of Community Importance”.
After crossing the Chiusella river, the course climbs up on the moraine that divides the Dora Baltea plain from the Valchiusella Valley, coming to Alice and Meugliano glacial lakes and Sites of Community Importance.
