DESCRIPTION
The course climbs from the Refuge up to the weather station, near Alpe di Costapiana (2046 m), and to Alpe di Coassolo (2032 m). Then it continues to Colle della Gavietta until reaching Mt. Bellavarda (2345 m). The track descends to Colle della Paglia (2151 m) and then to Upper Alpe Paglia (1850 m). The stage stops at the Alpe Ciavanis Sanctuary, a remarkable panoramic spot.
