DESCRIPTION
Once left Pont Canavese the track climbs to hamlet Molini and then to Alpette (950 m). After that, it continues to Musrai and on the path leading to Balmassa and Bassa di Mares col (1490 m). The paths then leads to Cima Mares (1654 m) and then to Colle della Pessa, Alpe del Calus (1788 m) and, lately, to Mt. Soglio (1971 m), Alpe Soglia Refuge is few minutes downhill Mt. Soglio. Along the way, in hamlet Musrai stands the Alpette Copper Ecomuseum, and, in hamlet Mares is the St. Bernard Chapel.
