DESCRIPTION
This route is al loop that runs around Mt. Calvo, Mt. Verzel and Mt. Quinseina, along the valleys carved by Vernetto, Piova and Rondonera creeks and connects the ancient tracks used to link the mountain pastures to the plain and the villages of Sale and Cintano.
The Basilisk, nowadays represented in Cintano’s square, is a mythological figure characterized by a repellent appearence, with crowned head of a cock, thorny wings and a snake tail.
