Lake Cascinette ring

Also know as Lake Campagna, this body of water is of glacier origin and dates back to the era when the great Balteo glacier retreat; 

The lake area, a green and quit oasis, is interesting from a naturalistic, geological, zoological and botanical point of view, besides the pleasant landscape aspect. 

On the Castellazzo rocks it is possible to enjoy a splendid view of the San Giuseppe Castle, the Mombarone, Serra Morenica and Chiaverano.

Starting place: Cascinette, church, Piazza deglialpini parking lot.

Running time: 2h (excluding variations)

Variations: Lake Sirio (30’)

WARNING

Hikers should not move away from pathways so as not to disturb animals and keep out of private property. Hikers are warned that there may also be people on horseback or bicycle: show reciprocal respect.

The rings, all easy to travel, can be travelled the entire year, trying not to go out on days with strong winds or after abundant rain or snow.

The availability of landowners make it possible to enjoy the walk, Be thankful by showing respect.
