White Stones Route

DESCRIPTION

The White Stones Route is a major course composed of closely connected loops. About 50 km of tracks that go throught the territory of 11 municipalities between the provinces of Turin and Vercelli, where the famous Erbaluce vine is grown. The paths allow a soft connection among the villages of the region and, at the same time, create local loops along the Ivrea Morainic Amphitheater (AMI) route. WOODS AND VILLAGES OF VALLE SACRA PATH

DESCRIPTION

The route starts in Chiesanuova, passes through Borgiallo and continues to Castelletto di Colleretto and its castle and ancient tower dating back to XIIIth century. Along the course outstand the Piova Sanctuary, one of the most famous of the Valley, the Bric Filia botanical path, rich in different tree species, and the church dedicated to St. John the Baptist in Cintano, the most ancient of Valle Sacra, built in XIIIth century.
