ALPE COSTAPIANA (ALTERNATIVE ROUTE 2B)

DESCRIPTION

From Alpe Pertus the route climbs up to the weather station near Alpe Costapiana (2046 m). Following path ETON332, it arrives to Lago di Monastero, then keeping the direction to Alpe di Coassolo joints again stage 3 track.

ALPE SOGLIA REFUGE - SALVIN REFUGE (STAGE 2)

DESCRIPTION

The route goes back from the Refuge to Alpe Soglia (1720 m); from here follows the Tre Vallate track up to Alpe Turinetto (1818 m), Bric Volpat (2038 m), Colle della Croce d’Intror (1950 m), Cima dell'Angiolino (2168 m) and Mt. Vaccarezza (2203 m). The track continues on the ridge and comes to Mt. Croass (2155 m) and then descends to Alpe Pertus. ALPE VAILET (2230 M) - CERESOLE REALE (1595 M) (STAGE 5)

DESCRIPTION

From Alpi Vailet the route goes to Colle della Terra d’Unghiasse (2633 m) and then continues to Lake d’Unghiasse (2648 m), Lake Gran Lago (2494 m) and Lake Fertà (2557 m). The path first climbs to Colle della Terra (2720 m) and then descends again to Colle della Crocetta (2641 m), that links Lanzo Valleys to Ceresole Valley. Alta Via Canavesana Trekking Route

The route, a loop composed of 12 stages, starts and ends in Pont Canavese. It can be easily reached travelling by public transport since it goes through Gallenca valley, Tesso and Malone valleys, crosses Orco and Soana valleys and touches Sacra valley. ALTA VIA CANAVESANA, STAGE 12 ALTERNATIVE ROUTE - BELLA DORMIENTE

DESCRIPTION

This route is an alternative route to AVC Stage 12 (hamlet Berchiotto – North Quinseina – Colle Pian Mungel). It covers the ridge of the “Sleeping Beauty” and then descends into the Valle Sacra. Due to the lenght of the route it is recommended to spend the night in hamlet Santa Elisabetta and take again the route the day after, going to Frassinetto and join again the AVC route.

ALTI PASCOLI PATH - STAGE 1

DESCRIPTION

Starting in Chiesanuova, the course follows the path of the votive chapels and comes to the Belice Chapel and the nearby rest area. After that it continues up to Confier pastures (1373 m) and then runs uphill the southern slope of Mt. Quinseina and comes to the Mirauda rest area. The route continues set in the stunning panorama of the Piedmontese plain and reaches Santa Elisabetta Sanctuary.

DESCRIPTION

Starting at Santa Elisabetta Sanctuary, the route leads at Cà Bianca (1400 m), then continues through meadows and rocks to hamlet Capannone. After reaching the dirt road of the old quartz mine, surrounded by the marvellous panorama of the valley, the route descends to the alpine houses of the Monte Calvo col, and then to hamlet Palazzotto. ANGOLI DI PACE" PATH

DESCRIPTION

Starting in Cintano, the route passes through oak and chestnut woods, and long stretches are characterized by gentle slopes and beautiful views of the valley. Along the way, beside Costantino Nigra’s abandoned villa, there are the Sanctuary of the Visitation, near which there is a camping area, Santa Elisabetta Sanctuary and, finally, the rest area and the “Malpasso” Chapel.

BELICE FOR EVERYBODY PATH

DESCRIPTION

The route is specially designed for disabled people and allows to progress into the birch woods in hamlet Belice and to reach the pleasant little hill near the Sanctuary, where a specially equipped area allows the practice of physical exercises in the natural environment.

The path, 1,20 m wide, has max 5% gradient and is covered with pressed gravel.
