DESCRIPTION
Starting at Santa Elisabetta Sanctuary, the route leads at Cà Bianca (1400 m), then continues through meadows and rocks to hamlet Capannone. After reaching the dirt road of the old quartz mine, surrounded by the marvellous panorama of the valley, the route descends to the alpine houses of the Monte Calvo col, and then to hamlet Palazzotto. The route continues through gorgeous birch, beech and chestnut woods and leads, in the end, to Castelnuovo Nigra.
